Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvacationTargetException. This application will new exit (LAX) on Windows 2012

วันนี้ลองติดตั้ง IBM Connections 5.5 และ IBM Docs 2.0 บน Windows 2012 แต่พบว่าระหว่างที่ติดตั้ง IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) 7.1.1 อยู่นั้นเจอ Error Message ดังรูป (จริงๆตอนใช้ 7.1.0 ก็เป็น)

อ่าน Error Message แล้วสงสัยจะเป็นเรื่องของ Java แฮะเลย unstall JRE ออกแล้ว restart เครื่องแล้วทดสอบใหม่ ผลที่ได้คือยังคงมี Error Message เดิมแสดงขึ้นมาตอนเรียกตัวติดตั้งอยู่ดี จากการค้นคว้าพบว่า  Error Message นี้มาจากความไม่ compatible ของตัว Installer กับ Windows ซึ่งสามารถแก้ไขได้โดยการกำหนดให้ตัว Installer 'Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7' ดังรูป
